Went in to browse for a car, and was greeted by one salesperson…not the best energy, and I was pretty much injured…I was then greeted by Lourdes. Her down to earth, fun and light energy is what’s needed in every room! While I didn’t purchase a car, what is usually a nerve racking, feeling pressured experience..turned about to be a fun, respectful and dedicated encounter. When I do decide to purchase (I wasn’t ready to purchase honestly) it will only be with her. What stood out the most was, it was obvious I wasn’t going to purchase today, but I wasn’t ignored by her. I was given the same level of attention and professionalism as the customers who were purchasing. Kindness matters. Such a genuine person. If you purchase, please ask for Lourdes.

I initially swore off Honda after a horrible experience with Honda Financial Services (HFS), which left me deeply frustrated with their lack of customer service. However, Jason R. and Ashley M. at Honda of Stamford were the reason I reconsidered. I met them when I visited the dealership, hoping to resolve an issue caused by Honda Financial. Jason and Ashley went above and beyond to make things right and ultimately won me back to the brand. Thanks to their top-notch service, I ended up purchasing a 2025 Honda Pilot Trailsport for my wife. If you’re in the market for a new car, I highly recommend working with them. As for Honda Financial Services, my experience was dreadful. For 42 months, they successfully processed my auto payments on autopay, but in the 43rd month, they suddenly didn’t. They claimed it was due to missing paperwork. Instead of contacting me about the issue, they reported a late payment to the credit bureau, which dropped my Experian score from 848 to 725, even though my scores with all three bureaus were between 834 and 848. This occurred just two months before my lease ended. After nearly 12 hours on the phone with Honda Financial, I was told I’d need to dispute this “late” payment via paper mail, despite having proof that HFS had the paperwork they claimed was missing. When I requested it through their website, they sent it to me—clear evidence they already had it. Yet, they refused to acknowledge their error or correct my credit file. Instead, they placed the burden on me to write and mail a letter, waiting to see if their credit department would even respond. It was astounding that a company of this size had no one available to resolve issues through common sense or logic. While Honda’s customer service representatives were polite, they admitted they couldn’t help, as Honda Financial operates independently. There was no clear path for escalating a complaint about HFS, which left me questioning if I’d ever choose Honda again. Thankfully, Jason, Ashley, and Kurt, the finance manager, made up for it with an outstanding dealership experience, securing a great car at a fair price. I give Honda of Stamford five stars for their service, but the Honda parent company deserves negative stars for such a disappointing customer service experience.

Both Edwin and Eddie, two of the sales reps here at Stamford Honda were fantastic to work with. I had recently purchased a car from the dealership and was extremely happy with the way that the dealership, Edwin and Eddie conducted themselves with. I had gone to a number of Honda dealerships around the NJ, NY, CT area and had a number of poor experiences until I went to the Stamford Honda location. Edwin and Eddie both went above and beyond to ensure a deal could get done and that I was comfortable throughout the process. They were transparent and responsive and did not employee aggressive sales tactics like other Honda dealerships in the area which ultimately drove me to purchase my vehicle here rather than elsewhere. If you are in the market for a car I would recommend Honda Stamford and ask for either Edwin or Eddie.
