Fuel Economy In the Winter

May 10th, 2019 by

When it comes to the colder season of winter, one thing that you are going to notice is that the fuel economy is lower. There are a lot of factors that can reduce your fuel economy. Some of it could be what you are using while you are in the vehicle.

Other reasons is that it takes longer for your vehicle to get up to the right temperature. One thing that you can do is park your vehicle in a warmer place. One example of a warmer place to park your vehicle is in the garage. This can help keep your vehicle warmer.

Another factor that can have an effect on your fuel economy is the seat warmers and defrosters. One thing that you want to do is avoid using them more than you need to. Once your vehicle gets to a reasonable temperature, then turn the features off.
