Removing an Adhesive Badge With Hot Water

One of the best things about removing an adhesive badge from your vehicle is that it is actually quite simple. You do not need any special tools. You just have to follow certain steps. You do not even need any special formulas. All you need is hot water in order to loosen the adhesive.

One thing you can do is fill a thermos with hot water to pour over the badge. The only thing is that the water has to be a certain temperature. You want water that is hot enough to steam. What you don't want is boiling water because that can bring some damage to the paint on your car.

Once you have hot enough water, you just have to pour it on the body of the car just above the badge so that it can come into actual contact with the adhesive as well as warm it through the badge.
