The Fundamentals of Tailgating
We have a goal at Honda of Stamford to help you get the most out of your pickup truck. Now that tailgating season is upon us, we have summarized some useful tips below that will help you prepare for a successful tailgating experience.
If you plan on tailgating regularly, then investing in a toolbox can be helpful. A tailgating toolbox lets you keep all your essentials in one location. The main compartment can house items that include a basting brush, toothpicks, tongs, bottle openers, and spatulas. Put wet wipes, paper towels, plastic zip bags, ponchos, and sunscreen in the middle compartment, and the bottom drawer is an ideal place to store condiments, seasonings, and spices.
When you're packing your cooler, use food storage containers that are water-tight. Cans and bottles should be placed at the bottom of the cooler so that they will stay cool, and store bagged food times on top of the ice layer. Be sure to chill adult beverages and perishable food items before you put them in the cooler.
